Mutant, in partnership with WaterTower Music are proud to present the premiere release of the Soundtrack to the Original Series GILMORE GIRLS, featuring music by Sam Phillips, whose iconic score and original songs defined the sound and emotional tone of the beloved Warner Bros. Television series.
The release marks the first time the music has been made available across digital platforms and was put together in partnership with series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. The collection features 18 tracks that appeared across the series’ seven seasons. GILMORE GIRLS captured the rhythm and warmth of small-town life in picturesque Stars Hollow; from quick-witted conversations to quiet moments between mother and daughter. Sam Phillips’ unmistakable and iconic “La La’s,” and expressive, minimalist arrangements became integral to the show’s identity, underscoring both its humor and its heart.
Available in a range of limited edition physical formats, including a Mutant web store exclusive 140gm “Autumn Leaves” color vinyl, as well as a 140gm “Coffee, Coffee, Coffee” color vinyl. The release is also available on both CD and Cassette. Two other vinyl color-ways (“Luke’s Diner” and “Dragonfly Inn,” both on 140gm colored vinyl) will be exclusively available at the Warner Bros. “Holidays Made Here” tour in Los Angeles, where they’ll be celebrating 25 years of GILMORE GIRLS.
