3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.

No problem at all ;)

Yes, Jackie Brown was released in France by TF1. In general TF1 movies (steelbooks)_ are Region B locked and have forced French subtitles when you listen to the English audio track

Cheers and welcome to the addiction :D

Ahhh ok. One thing I didn't realize is that its OOP.

And thats ok because soon enough, they HAVE to release this and Pulp Fiction here in Canada. And it better be a SB release.

First thing to learn about steelbook collecting is that they, the steelbook producers, will never do what you expect them to ;)

I just got the first 5 Harry Potter movies today, waiting on the 6th from another ebay seller. Also got a copy of Vantage Point from a different ebay seller though there was some damage to it. And in a few days I should have my box from Canada with those Warner releases.

ROFL!!!!!

I hear ya! But they would be foolish not to release them in SB. ;)

Haha. Stupid Brana!! EEK! J/K :p

Foolish not to release them, absolutely, but that really means nothing at all. Warner is releasing 10,000 B.C. in steelbook, again, something thsat is foolish to do

See what I mean about expectations.

In terms of Brana, he has little control over what studios will agree to produce, be produced, for special editions.

IM2 would have sold like crazy and would have been a gold mine from a retail perspective

Cheers

I agree, releasing 10,000 BC in SB is ridiculous. I thought they only produced SB'S for movies THAT MADE MONEY ( according to Brana ). You can't tell me that big turd they crapped out actually made money.

As far as Brana, Im not blaming him for the Sb's that are released. I was just disappointed in him when he confirmed a FS IM2.

My newest steels and IPs:

Robin Hood (AU)
Iron Man 2 (HK)
The Runaways
Prince of Persia (CAN)
Beauty and the Beast
Toy Story 3

The last two courtesy of apsmith. Thanks Andy! :D

Yeah Oceans 13 takes the cake. How about Oceans 11 first ;) or just a trilogy.

The only one I can really understand is the IAL release, but only from a collector perspective, and I highly doubt that the re-release has anything to do with collecting.

I still believe there is something fishy with the whole thing.

All will be known in 2 1/2 weeks

What's fishy to me is each and every release shows identical artwork to the Future Shop DVD exclusives released in the past. In my opinion, either they are recycling old G1 dvd cases, or more likely they are just recycling old artwork. And for their second wave, there were lots if other FS Dvd exclusives they could use.:dunno:

Got my copies of Memento, Kill Bill 1+2, Sin City, Traffic, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead Pans Labyrinth, Law Abiding Citizen and A History of Violence. Would've had them yesterday but I never heard DHL.

As soon as I saw the artwork that was my opinion as well, that they are recycling G1 steelbooks.

Look at what Warner is doing in France, all G1 Steelbooks for BD releases, and there is some merit to the arguement, that and the fact that all of these G1 steelbook (DVD) releases of these titles just sat on shelves in large numbers collecting dust.
