How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.

Wish I would have been into steelbooks back in 2008. This is one of the most requested titles ever!!

One way to possibly tell what country your SB is from is to look at the discs. What language is the text on the discs? If there is any French on it then I guess it would be from Canada. Any Spanish would indicate Mexico. And what language does it default to when you load the movie?

For example, Terminator 2 was released in England, Germany, and The Netherlands, all with the exact same SteelBook but with localized paper inserts on the back and all with different discs.

My Mexican T2 loads up with Spanish as the default language, and only offers Australia as a location to access the English menus, not the US.

Maybe there's a clue like that in your discs?

On thing I noticed from your pictures - on the far left bottom corner is the Canadian ratings logo. I'm unsure if the FYE has the same thing or not on the bottom.

It may be that you have the Future Shop edition. I can check my Mexico steelbook when I get home this evening to see what it has.

For all intents and purposes though, the steelbooks are basically identical.

It may be that you have the Future Shop edition. I can check my Mexico steelbook when I get home this evening to see what it has.

Thanks to bobino66 for this Sweeney Todd Play.com booklet. The Blu-ray steelbook that came with it has the same UPC code as my copy. I believe the Play.com UPC # was a sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap. I would love to see a packaged copy if someone has it. I will remake the UPC, shrink wrap it up and make a fortune on Ebay! Hehe, just kidding! The pressure outline of the steelbook is clearly visible on the booklet. I can tell you this copy had the booklet lined up flush on the top.
