In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

To think, all this time I've just been putting these stupid stickers aside with the J cards when I could have been gluing them to the front of the slip.

Huh. I'm in disbelief.
So you've bought these from a marketplace seller and...am I reading this correctly because I can't quite fathom it.
They've actually glued the branding holo onto the front of the slips!.

Seriously?

Yup, off eBay. The price was great so I'm actually not going to complain to them, I saw the little badges on the front and assumed they just left them resting on there for the photo, not actually stuck the bloody things on. I hadn't even realised those badges were stickers, wait are they stickers or did they go to trouble of actually using their own adhesive? Managed to get them off without any damage thankfully, funnily enough a hairdryer is turning into one of my most useful tools for premium steelbooks. Fixes fine scratches, unfinished gloss and mental use of stickers.

I don't know if I'm more shocked that they slapped them on the front of the slips or that they didn't disclose that on their listings.
Mental

Does anyone even read listing descriptions anymore? Most of them just have AI slop in them which is always useless.

Always do. A cursory glance. Takes a second.
For what's it's worth. I still add some relevant info in the description when necessary.
I've seen sellers put a short explanation right at the end of the paragraph, easy to miss, something like, "small scratch bottom left corner" without showing a photograph of it in the image line up.
Saved me time, effort and money in the long run.
Not always the case but it happens a fair bit. I can't be arsed with the back and forth with sellers these days so I'd rather take a second to glance at Ai slop, sigh and move on.
