That really does look excellent. Assuming I don't feel differently about it when its in hand, that's the best interstellar release imo

I do really like Manta's DL as a companion piece, and I'll likely still keep that unless I get offered a ludicrous amount for it, but I've got no qualms with selling off the rest of my OC set now.

Ah yeah, just looked odd with the light shining on it like it had been cut in rather than raised up.

Can see clearer on my PC now at work.

They all look really great. A1 the best for me but it's all subjective & just what you like. 3 fantastic slips.

Lenti is nothing special imo, but A1 looks nice. A2 is definitely the winner for me though. Very happy with my choice there.

The helmet holofoil feels a bit odd to me. I'm just hoping they used up all their stock on this release, because I can't imagine how it will fit with Saving Private Ryan (though I have no doubt they'll try).

It is a lot but I think it suits this specific shot and release perfectly. I honestly expected it was going to end up being a bit of a flat finish and wouldn't have minded that much but this feels very fitting.

why would it be fitting that the event horizon of a black hole is holofoiled? isnt it practically a sphere where light literally cannot escape from? it not only looks bad, it is also dumb af

guess it would be alright-ish on the accretion disc, but the black hole itself shouldnt look like a fkn rainbow lol

I mean if we're going to get into semantics shouldn't this scene and thus the entire artwork be completely black then? Why is this even visible in the movie?

yeah the event horizon should be (and is) pitch black, not the accretion disc around it? i dont get what you mean lol.. why would the entire scene be completely black?

The way you worded your post made it sound like you thought the idea of any glow from the entirety of this frame is out of place. No the event horizon doesn't necessarily need holofoil but surely the rest of the image having it is fitting?
