I think I’m going to be alone here. My steelbook seems really washed out and has too much metallic/ bare metal on the space station and on the background. Mine looks nothing like it does in other peoples photos it’s really confusing. None of the colours pop and are washed out or near bare metal. The bossing is great but that’s about it for me. I think Manta has the better steel in hand imo.

That’s a shame because the photos make it look better. Even looking at the steel through my camera it already looks better. Damn

To be honest I’ve thought the steel looked like the colour might lack a little ooomph since I first saw l it, but those that have seen it in hand so far hadn’t mentioned anything so just figured it might look stronger in hand. The bossing has always looked great so glad that’s the same in hand.

The lower part of the space station is blurry and low res anyway. Believe it’s just that image but that part isn’t translating on steel too well either. It’s adding to my disappointment lol

i mean how did they obtain the image anyways? maybe they have just taken the OG image (hdzeta steel) and zoomed in on the space station lol.. because i dont recall there being a drawn out shot in the movie thats zooming in on the space station

Here’s the poster but that is a good point. As you can see the lower/ right side is blurry anyway and I think that looks fine on a poster/ slip. It works. But the bare metal and washed out look ruins it on the steel. I can’t be the only one thinking this? As a whole it’s still an ok steel. Better than any WWA. But for me it’s not as good as Mantas. I’m just thankful I never got that FS. I’d be very f**ked off with this release as a whole if I did. Sorry not sorry

It isn't super vivid in hand, no. It's relatively subdued actually. The station is mostly bare metal, and that lower right is extra blurry now since weet appear to have blown it up to be central in the forefront of the steel. I don't think your paint job is off, but maybe it's just a preference thing, because I really like it.

It isn't as vivid or sharp as Manta's, but I think that's the quality of the poster more than anything, and this is THE poster for the film as far as I'm concerned. I prefer it to HDZ's steel as well, which was more vivid than weet's, but not any sharper tbh.
