I sent a message to Zavvi yesterday asking why my order has not been dispatched yet when payment was taken on Wednesday August 7th
This is the reply I got yesterday

I can confirm that your order is being processed, and will be dispatched to you on 12-08-2019.
As I'm sure you can understand, we are now in a very busy time of the year, and as such, it can take some orders a little longer to be dispatched.

A reply saying my order will be dispatched on release date 12/08/2019
All my previous orders with Zavvi since 2013 once payment was taken I had dispatch no later than 48 hours with most been within 24 hours
I'm curious members who are still waiting on their order to be dispatched did you order before 15.56 (3.56 PM) or after 17.00 on May 14th
This steelbook was initially listed as sold out at 3.56 pm on May 14th and then came back available to pre order just before 17.00 (5 PM) on May 14th and then listed as sold out again sometime just after 19.00

Just little heads up for all 4K lovers, there’s been reported that DNR (digital noise reduction that didn’t appear on 1080 BD) had been used to smooth the images so it looks less grain but overall they still mentioned that it’s a good upgrade over 1080 BD since 4K exhibits more details and HDR helps bring more highlights...

All Zavvi pre orders list release date as est delivery date as long as the release date is on their system when you check your orders in your account been that way always
So there’s no bonus features other than deleted and extended scenes?!
Sorry but that’s p*ss poor. The original release has a bonus disc full of extras. For the price you’d think this would’ve been included too?
The lack of bonus features these days is really starting to annoy me now. The prices increase, the content decreases. Take the upcoming release of Endgame, surely with it being the culmination of over ten years work there’d be a wealth of content documenting it in celebration? But no, we’ll get palmed off with another collection of 5-10 min EPK fluff pieces - thanks Di$ney.

Very strange a few customers not yet got dispatch notice 3 days after payment was taken and be told your order will be dispatched on release date August 12th when a lot of other customers already had dispatch on Wednesday August 7th
I wonder how many customers are affected and have Zavvi oversold this release after it came back available after been listed as sold out earlier that day

Ditto to that. Hope they don’t leave it too long for guardians, ant man and strange pre orders but at the same time I appreciate them spacing them out. Glad zavvi have done that
How have zavvi missed their own Ambassador @paulboland ??? Must be a law or something against that.
Yeah same, I'm glad they haven't done the same as Best Buy and charged all at the same time lol. Read of some members having like $500 charged at once
though I think that's multiple copies of multiple steelbooks (including that Avengers set) but still, all this wave at once would be killer enough lol

No $500 was just for 1 copy of each plus the Avengers set. I ordered 4 copies of each of the steelbooks to ensure good copies.
