This is just what I was saying for a few art card and other wee bits particularly with shipping people in the UK are paying £40ish for kimchi steels without hesitation. If people don't want to purchase this then that's cool but it's hardly zavvi's biggest crime. People wanted a steelbook with the zbox they have one, people wanted iron man steelbook they have one??
Just to make your point you choose to forget about cases where buyers DO want both the box and Steelbook but then never get the Steel. What do you have to say about that? I'm guessing it will be "Too bad, Zavvi is awesome and you suck as a customer"?
Can't compare Premium Asian products to Zavvi's box of trash.It's forced, really can't compare this reject rubbish box Zavvi are selling here to premium Asian products, made for serious collectors, something collectors can enjoy and relate to. The value after is also strong for a reason, worth everything I spent on them and more.
That's fine if you want both a Zbox and also a Steelbook
But at all times you should be able to choose to order each on their own without the need to get a Zbox
The Zbox is not the same as what you get with a Nova or Kimchi releases its totally different with most of the Zbox content
The difference is with Kimchi is all the content you get as in booklet artcards lenti numbered card etc is only to with the film itself
Majority of the Zbox contents is not to with Iron Man the steelbook itself but other stuff
If Zavvi want to do what Nova/Blufans/Kimchi do with Steelbook releases they would get lot more happier customers and collectors compared to what you get with a Zbox
I and others should be able to order a steelbook without the need to order a Zbox
If this Iron Man steelbook package was like what Kimchi/Nova/Film Arena do with a steelbook release the posts in the thread would be mostly favourable and not what we are seeing with the dislike of the Zbox
Zbox is not the same quality of extras goodies a steelbook collectors like to see released
Those that want to purchase a Zbox that's fine its their choice but it should not be forced on others who just want the Iron Man Steelbook with Lenticular itself
I agree. The only thing that the constant negativity achieves is to make this forum an unpleasant one to visit.
Lets be honest though, artcards and number cards are also junk, what are the cards good for? "Oh look a picture of Robert downy jr very nice, I'll just put that back in case never to be looked at again", and when buying a steelbook who really cares what number they get? 2043 is no different from 3075, a nice full slip and a Booklet is all that is needed in a premium steelbook set, I don't like the zbox either think they're a load of rubbish but at least you can sell the stuff on ebay and make some of your money back.

But others think differently. The random aspect of it appeals to certain people. Why do you think CS:GO case openings are so popular on YouTube? People love mystery! As I said, it's up to people what they value. I was just drawing a very common occurrence as a comparison.
Also. I still stand by my previously deleted statement that the phrases 'serious collector' and 'true fan' are the worst. Surely that can't be deleted. It's an opinion aimed an nobody.

I might be the odd one out, but I actually like some of the zbox stuff. I have only bought a couple of them, but love my Zombie Socks from a while ago. Also loved my Groot funko pop from a different box.
I guess it is kinda simple really. Zavvi are offering a package they feel is sellable and if people want it, they will buy it. If you don't want it, don't buy it - I'm sure that copies of this steely will appear on eBay for less than the combined price of the steel + zBox an Zavvi.
Some of you guys are getting waaaay too stressed over this. Come on guys - there are much better things to get stressed about than this.

I think people are mad that they think they are used by zavvi to buy more, because they know marvel steelbook always sold-out. And i'm not sure about being less on ebay
Only renegades are Zavvi for betraying the collector community by packaging a highly desirable steelbook with a bunch of undesired stuff.
