Man, this whole thing with this statue has been an absolute saga. The second it was announced, I just knew I had to have it – it was going to be the ultimate centerpiece for my little 'man room.' Seriously, that game back in 2013? It completely changed my life. I fell head over heels for the story, the characters, the whole world. Since I already had a couple of Prime 1 pieces I'd bought through a UK seller, Statuesque, I jumped on their pre-order the second they listed it. Knowing it was a big chunk of change, I signed up for their 18-month payment plan and diligently chipped away each month. Last month, I thought I'd finally made that last payment. So I go to Statuesque's website, practically buzzing to see that 'payment complete' notification, and BAM! Right there on their homepage was this notice about them ceasing trading and waiting for the liquidators. I honestly couldn't believe it. All that time, all that overtime I put in to pay for this thing... just gone? It was such a gut punch. You hear about people losing money like this, but to actually experience it? It really messed with me. Luckily, I contacted my bank straight away, and they've temporarily refunded 13 months of payments (apparently that's as far back as they could go). But reading reviews on TrustPilot, so many others weren't so lucky. For a minute, I thought about just packing it all in and selling my collection. But I'm so glad I didn't. I picked up even more overtime, used that refunded money, and I've finally paid for the statue directly through Prime 1 Studio themselves. Honestly, after all this, when it finally arrives, I know I'm going to appreciate it like nothing else.

This statue has been an absolute saga for me. From the moment it was announced, I knew it was my ultimate grail, the centerpiece I envisioned for my 'man room.' This game back in 2013 profoundly impacted my life, and I fell in love with its world and characters. Owning two, smaller Prime 1 pieces already, purchased through a UK seller called Statuesque, I jumped on their pre-order for this statue immediately. Knowing it was a significant investment, I opted for an 18-month payment plan, diligently paying each month. Last month, I believed I'd made my final payment. Imagine my shock when, instead of a 'payment complete' notification on Statuesque's website, I was met with a stark announcement of their business ceasing trading and awaiting liquidation. It felt like all that time and hard-earned money had vanished. It was truly disheartening. Thankfully, my bank was able to refund 13 months' worth of payments, unlike many others who have shared similar experiences on TrustPilot. While I briefly considered giving up on collecting, I'm thrilled to say I didn't. I took on more overtime, used the refunded money, and have now purchased the statue directly from Prime 1 Studio. After everything that's happened, I know I'll cherish this piece for years to come.
Wow! I’ve never heard of that company before. If you're in the EU/UK, I highly recommend Kaioland!
Their installments are a bit different, though.
You get a PayPal invoice each month that you'll need to pay.
With them, the total price (including shipping) is already shown on the page, for example, the Joel and Ellie editions.

Direct is also a good option. If anything happens to the statue and it arrives damaged, and you want a refund, all you have to do is grab a hammer and record yourself destroying it, and they'll refund you.:D

Cheers, I haven't heard of Kaioland before. I will be sure to check them out.
It was great using a UK 3rd part seller as they sorted out all the import tax stuff, took a load off my mind. I'll see how Prime 1 direct goes, but honestly, I'm just chuffed I still managed to snag one.

Forgot to even mention the tax, Kaioland is tax and customs free to the UK and to europe, they use sea freight so it might take longer (DPD is their go-to shipping service)
But it always arrives, I added them to whatsapp and you can ask the owner (Victor) anything, their phone number and email:
email [email protected] phone +34 613 52 37 56, if you wanna add them in the future (also on their website btw)
My last order was the DBZ KD piece, might wanna ask him first about UK import tax but I am pretty sure its still free, they are shipped directly from the retailers.

The DBZ statue for example was €2000, directly from china, ordered it via Kaioland and I didnt pay any import tax on it, this goes for all of my orders with them.
So you dont have to worry about getting hit with a massive shipping invoice for $500 for example like that Predator Statue, or worry about import tax with any of your orders with them. :thanks:
