Unlike JP2, JP3 is a film that gets worse as it ages. Proper waste of space. Unfortunately it holds some nostalgia for me.

I can still watch it when I’m doing the original trilogy and it has its moments like the bird cage scene but it’s the worst film of them all. So far…

I actually really like JW1. Fallen kingdom is stupid (but the first 30/40 mins are cool) and 3rd is a tough one. The extended version is much better put it that way

Just got out of the theater and honestly it’s not as bad as the early reviews and definitely not the worst in the JW series. Yeah the opening scene is complete dogshit and should have been cut. There were some of the better sequences in the series but nowhere in the realm of JP 1&2. I think this film suffered from the short production timeline. It’s basically impossible to recapture the magic of the original but you can tell there are pieces of a very good film there that it ultimately falls short of. Scarlett, the scientist guy, and Blade did great with the material they had. If you go in, turn your brain off and just want a dinosaur based escape I recommend checking out at matinee price and not on premium formats.
