I asked that because the two films were separate, but here they’ve been combined into this version – though in the end, given that we’ll have to switch discs at some point, it’s a bit of a shame. 200 go discs don’t exist ?

Right now we’re maxed out at triple layer UHD discs which have a capacity of 100 GB.

I was under the impression it will just be a clear PET type outer slip like Lionsgate use and not an actual veil........

I can't see it being an actual veil, surely it wouldn't be remotely practical from the point of getting the outer pet slip on and off without it scrunching up.

It looks like the veil will be printed onto an extra pet flap attached to the top of the box in some way and then the front title pet slip will go over that. That's how I'm reading those images.

2 movies on 2 separate discs vs 1 movie on 2 separate discs. For us, adepts of the physical support, it’s not a big improvement.

Anyone else watched the digital version yet? Tbh, I found the extra anime section a little superfluous... But the full colour House of Blue Leaves was cool and the odd extra bits of gore/violence here and there gave me a chuckle

I also found the 2nd half to be a slight upgrade in the 4k compared to the first half... Was that the case with KB1 & KB2 physical discs?

Yeah. Vol 2 4K looks better than Vol 1

Yes that's a bit disappointing. I'll buy the physical edition but I'll also buy the digital release (if it comes one day here...)
