Initial information unfortnately suggests this will have only lossy DTS and Dolby Digital audio, but this is unconfirmed. It will contain episodes remastered from film and presented in the proper 1.33:1 aspect ratio. Each season will contain six discs, for a total of 24 Blu-ray Discs. There will also be two DVDs featuring the Knight Rider 2000 (1991) and Knight Rider 2010 (1994) telefilms. It appears the first run will also come with a Japanese dubbing script.
The fact that only Japanese subtitles are included suggests this release will be limited to Japan, and not released concurrently in other countries, like the recent House M.D. Blu-rays. The Columbo Blu-ray also had unclear audio specs and (apparently) lossless audio on its discs, so I am hoping this release is in the same boat.
EDIT: I have confirmed with someone who owns the set that the Japanese Columbo Blu-ray box set contains only Dolby Digital 2.0 audio, not LPCM audio.
