Lack of glossy releases?

Have there been any glossy releases recently?

Gloss seems to add an extra touch of "premium" to a steel. I'm think 2012 (FR), Green Hornet (UK) and Terminator Salvation (UK et al).

No one wants to add a bit of gloss anymore? Is it too pricey?

Maybe it's for the best, I'm not really a massive fan of any of those films mentioned but have paid premium prices for the steelbooks :hilarious:

What other glossy releases are there (over the years)?

Right off the top of my head are these recent releases -

Best Buy's The Amazing Spider-Man
Underworld Awakening (US, Japan, Taiwan, Korea etc)
MIB 3 (Japan, Taiwan, Korea)
Total Recall (Taiwan, Korea)
Play.com's The Raid

Perhaps I have a different definition of glossy finish than most people. I find the finish to be glossy whenever I see smudges on the steelbook after handling.

I believe it does cost more for a glossy finish over a plain matte finish. I would imagine that's why a lot of newer steelbooks are matte. The Godfather Trilogy, Iron Sky, Snow White and the Huntsman and War of The Worlds are a few recent glossy ones.
