Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing, one of the most influential film actors and singers from Hong Kong, has left us for 10 years already. His charisma on stage is still deeply in our heart. April 1st is the 10th anniversary since he has passed away. In memory of and paying tribute to Leslie Cheung, Hot Toys is proud to be the first company to exclusively produce his 1/6th scale Collectible Figure, which is wearing his iconic black suit, coming with a director’s chair as being a movie director is the dream of his life time. This valuable limited edition 1/6th scale Leslie Cheung Collectible Figure will be firstly available at the “Miss You Much Leslie” exhibition in Hong Kong starting from end March.

More about Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing:
Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing (12 September 1956 – 1 April 2003) was a Hong Kong film actor and musician. He was considered as "one of the founding fathers of Cantopop", and had a hugely successful film and music career, with fans from different parts of the world. In 1993, Leslie Cheung renowned international film scene with "Farewell My Concubine" rewarded Best Actor nomination at the Festival de Cannes, France. In 2000, he was named Asian Biggest Superstar by China Central Television, and voted/ranked the 1st as The Most Favorite Actor in 100 Years of Chinese Cinema in 2005. In 2010 he was voted the third of the CNN's "top five most iconic musician of all time" placing behind Michael Jackson and The Beatles.

Hot Toys has long wished to produce a 1/6th scale Leslie Cheung Collectible Figure. After striving for the rights for years and discussion with Leslie Cheung’s manager – Mrs. Florence Chan Suk Fun, Hot Toys finally acquires the official rights in producing 1/6th scale (12-inch) highly-accurate Leslie Cheung’s Collectible Figure, as the first company to exclusively launch his collectible figure in the world.
