There's a Best Buy ad prominently placed on the homepage touting this steelbook. I think the ad should be taken down - this could be construed as false advertising. It's past the point of ridiculous the way these promotions are done. Tout a steelbook of a popular film and only stock a couple of copies at each location, where scalpers line up to grab every copy to resell for profit. When will this madness end?

I purchased my copy for in store pickup and had my wife pick it up for me. Steelbook had a small dent in the front. Sales associate told my wife that it was the last one. Going to return it and hold out till the Filmarena release.

This going for $50+ on eBay pushes me closer to just stop collecting. It's not even that great of steelbook and is only going for that because it's "Marvel" Whatever ✌

The steelbook fits nicely into the Target digibook slipcover. I think even a sealed copy of the steelbook
would slide right in. Put the now slip-covered steelbook together with the digibook into a plastic sleeve
or a resealable baggie and you have a nice special edition of your own.

I had been on vacation in Chicago I got in at like 3am and was like man I don't wanna wake up and try and worry about this and getting there at 10am so I just did an instore pick up when I got home at 3am and went to bed. I rolled into best buy probably around 10:45am and every single copy was gone so glad I did the pickup or I'd have been screwed.

I feel like pop art has ruined this steel. And not the artwork on this particular one, but just the perceived notion of pop art as bad. Instantly anything that is even slightly pop art gets hated on.

This movie is based on a comic book character and they got a Marvel artist to draw a comic book version of this movie's characters. I think that's pretty cool. I could actually imagine picking up a real paperback comic book and seeing this artwork on the front.

Agree with you mate.

Hate the way people think because the art on a steel is handrawn, cartoony, comicy etc (and not just this release) that it's pop art or poop art as most call it.

Funny how no one refers to mondo art as pop art - even though it's technically not but neithers half the stuff people call pop art

I love this artwork and I HATE Mondo and popart. This is based on a comicbook character so it fits, Iron Giant Mondo makes no sense to me at all since its already animated artwork

I'm glad I got it, specially since rare to find, not a fan of Mondo or pop art also, this had a different vibe, would like more of this, like steels that are off the beaten path, many people disliked the Guardians tape player when it came out, I thought it was Genius, can't wait to see what they do for Vol 2, probably Zune related....

I would say no, buy now, watch later, you need to go through the story of Wolverine movies to appreciate this conclusion....
