Lord of the Rings Extended Version Steelbooks - Any chance of a release?

Hi All

Apologies if you've discussed this already - I'm new here.
I've seen some pics of the recent LOTR steelbooks that are out there - I don't think they're the extended blu ray version right.

I just wondered if anyone had any info on if this might be released??

Hi Timban, there aren't any extended version Lord of The Rings Steelbooks out at the moment. There may well be some released in the future though, who knows! Welcome to the forum!

I saw a Trilogy on Ebay about 3 weeks ago !!

I posted the link in the Ebay section ~ I think ??

I will troll my posts now , but it was a Trilogy "g2" size with Normal front & a tiny bit of Asian Text .. , Guy said he got it fron Singapore !!

I was sure it was a "bootLeg"

Thanks for the info......I watched the extended trilogy over Christmas, was the first time I had watched the films back to back - awsome films.....when / if the steelbook comes out I'll be on that like a flash!!!

I don't think we will see extended editions on steel until the 3re hobbit is out and then it will be after its gone to normal blu ray etc. Just like lotr. Releases
