I have mixed feelings.

Kinda regret my purchase, the holofoil is aweful imo but i only buy full slips as i don't like lenticulars and this embossing & attention to details is amazing on this one...so...dunno

That's why i don't like buying something without seeing in hand pics before, especially when it comes from a new company (and when the product is so expensive :censored::whistle::naughty:)

Thanks for the feedback. However with most holofoil based releases you would know that the effect is not as intense as depicted in the pictures if the image is perpendicular to your line of sight. (Escape From New York / Mullholland Drive slips etc).

Manta is taking the feedback to make necessary adjustments for their next release.

This is totally true, of course. In this instance (for me) it's more about the fact that those nice red and blue comic book colors that really pop in the mock ups will be washed out because of all the holofoil. This is the problem with the Mulholland Dr. release that recently came out--the slip is just exploding with luscious base colors in the mock up, then you get the product in hand and all that color is drained away by the holofoil coating (and replaced by random rainbows instead). The base colors are weak no matter what angle you hold the slip at.

But the rest of the details on Man of Steel are top notch. And it's great to hear that Manta are taking note of what we think .

Loving the new thumbs up add on ...

But I can't figure out whether to use Thanks or Thumbs Up now .

Thanks @Maximus15 yeah looks real nice a great 1st release, which edition did you go for?

Went for the 1-click!! Can't wait to get it. Everyone seems to be thinking it is too much holofoil, but as I said in my previous post it is probably just the light and wouldn't have that much effect until you move it around when in hand.

Maybe Manta should put up a vid of it moving in different angles @Aniv ?

I prefer the sweet nectar of "Thanks" as it tallies up under our usernames lol. Only if they tallied up the "thumbs up" and "helpful" ratings as well, that would be cool :)
