I clicked on the link in the OP Group Buy which brings you directly to the ebay DVDs of this release and all the pictures used on the DVD releases are all the same ones as we see on each editions and the steel of this current new release.

I am not trying to be negative, but to see all those pictures that are all same as the DVD ones. It kinda removes the feeling of the thrill for this new Package :blackeye: I know DVD pictures are not the same as a nice Fullslip with a new steel, but since they are the same pictures I just don't know what to do now...I guess its all about the finish :dunno:(n)
Well said and couldn't agree more. Plus it is a lot of money. Like you said it's the finish that makes the difference and won't know until it's in hand but to me with a limited budget it's starting to feel like an expensive risk. On the fence now... :banghead:

I think if I was going for a single version it would be the Lenti - I don't buy steels as often anymore, so I went for a 1 -Click - but I will have to sell some others to make it up, otherwise it gets silly.

Plus my wife would make me sleep on the couch. :hilarious:

I think good thing is you still have time to decide

Its actually my budget that pushed me over the fence  along with all those DVD Pictures used for this project :bag:, but like I said I am not trying to be negative, but for me I will pass on this. If it is a great finish which I am sure it will be, than it will make many happy and money well spent as it is not a cheap release. I would have jumped in if they would be new pictures never used yet, so it would have the ''novelty feeling'' that it currently was taken away, from the way I now see the release.

I respect that fully buddy and don t worry about it sounding negative - it doesn't! :)

So many releases just lately, it's best to be picky - otherwise we get into trouble and then sleep on the couch

Couch!? Doorstep for me more like!

Unfortunately with so many great release coming out you do have to be picky. Sometimes you get it right, sometimes you get it wrong. Ive got no doubts that this will be a top release it's just come at the wrong time for me. Good luck to everyone that secured a copy and please don't rub it in when you get them! :naughty:

You're right @Actarus. At least we get a chance to cancel the GB by the 26th of this month. Hopefully we'll see some form of in hand pics before that date.. Remember though we've all bought steelbook a with the same art as dvd/amary before!

Thing is sometimes when stright talking no flapping around posts are used they are are ether brushed aside , modified or delited for me with no just cause .

That is why members now think before they post .

Manta lab doing this stunning realise brings this conversation to the fore then bring it on .

A lot of times people have reported threads for being off topic, and mods who (do not do this as a job) come in and the quickest way to get it back on track is to delete posts. Obviously other posts that get deleted are when people are being offensive, derogatory, or extremely abrasive. That only leads to fighting etc. Stuff we dont need here. If two people don't like each other, they are welcome to be cheeky etc with class ... just not be outright rude. We want the best atmosphere we can provide to all members. This is obviously hard to accomplish, never ending, and you'll never ultimately have it. But you can always strive for it.

In regards to just deleting to stay on topic I'm working towards a new understanding with all staff to allow more freedom in threads in hopes that "they'll come back on topic" just as this thread here has done! (until this post of mine lol) However we can't allow threads to go multiple pages off topic as then it gets a bit wild and the convo should just be in General Chat anyways.

But we sure as heck don't want to take away anyone's fun. I mean we arent all metal snobs right? We do actually collect these things to chat , share and have fun with entire hobby in a whole. Right? Or is it just me. :p

Are you sure your computer doesn't have some malware on it? Not sure which eBay or DVD you are looking at?

He's right @Aniv where it says "Lenticular Magnet" in the GB op, it is a link which goes to ebay, but I'm guessing it is one of the auto links as opposed to something you have put there? Artarus just wants to know about the back art of the Lenticular I think?

Oh thats pretty weird I dont see any such link. The only link I have in the GB post is this Release Discussion & Info : Click Here

Can you post a screenshot please of which link you are seeing? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for that! Pretty weird. I don't see that at all as a hyperlink. I guess it has something to do with autolink?? based on tags in the forum. Maybe @Apollon or @Wreck would know :D

It's definately some kind of adware or forum ad, maybe it only works on certain browsers but both links go to ebay showing lenticular magnets. Plus at the top of the op where it says "man of steel" it goes to DVDs of Man of Steel on ebay. LOL

LMAO! Well all ad stuff is blocked on my network through OpenDNS custom blacklists so maybe thats what it is. I will add one of the managed nodes to the exception list but unfortunately I cannot remove it if its a forum setting lol.
