I was actually looking at something on the A24 shop just two days ago and was contemplating trying to find a way to order it without having to deal with their exorbitant international shipping prices. I like the look of this so ended up making an order, although I'm still pretty sure using a post-forwarding service is still a good bit cheaper. Hoping the metallic slipbox turns out nice. Might have possibly splurged and also bought the paddles given I've been planning on getting a table for a while.
Well holy f**k what an incredible film. Those Safdies know how to make a gripping film. Was hooked and couldn’t look away for 2 and half hours like what Uncut Gems and Good Times did to me (I know they split up after UG and went on to make this and smashing machine separately). I think this is Timothy’s finest performance and was completely robbed of that Oscar. Leo too. I loved Jordan in Sinners but he did not deserve that one bit over those 2 especially Timmy lol. I know they humiliated him for what he said about ballet but man he should’ve won.
Excellent music and score too. Just fits so well. And a lovely edition from A24. One of my favourites this year so far

Had them lined up in front of the tv last night and every time he played table tennis, did a crime, ran, boosted his own ego or mentioned Japan I did a shot and and a rally running between the 6 tables playing up against the wall getting my Marty on
