Thank you lenticularis,much appreciated :notworthy::thumbs:
Had no idea FA were releasing this:OMG: it's awesome, I've just got on the gb for V1, very tough choice, I like the slips equally, prefer V2 lenti, prefer V1 booklet over cards so it was hard to choose. Very excited about this release, another great job by FA:joy:

I felt pretty much the same way.

Though I feel it is total overkill again to have two versions AND a boxset!

Dammit, if they had put the V2 lenti in the V1 package almost everyone would have been quite satisfied. I'm afraid FA are starting to over-egg the pudding, to very little positive effect!

All this extra effort they expend on a single release would be better spent on searching out and bringing us more individual releases.

I agree, it's great for people who can afford and want multiple releases of the same steelbook, but for me that's not an option. I liked it when FA just released one package per film, too many options and I then have to weigh up what's included, like you said if they'd put lenti v2 in V1 and that's all they released then it would have been a clear winner with everyone being happy.. but that's just me and what I can afford, great for people with bigger wallets but for me I miss the earlier days of FA when I didn't feel like I was missing out when I bought one of their packages:happy:

I think it's pretty normal if all retailers start doing this for money, of course it's for business, and again, it's your choice, just not to buy it (or them) ...
Of course, I totally agree, wherever a company can make money, they will. I just prefer to only have one choice, but again that's just me. With other companies making up to/or over 4 different packages it was just a matter of time before FA did the same. The only problem I have when choosing which FA version to buy is that they split the good stuff up rather then making each package awesome (this is just my opinion,as of course FA can do what the wish) for example, John wick.. I personally thought the Angel ed came with silly things (note pad and coaster if I remember correctly ) I liked the Angel steelbook better than the other one (devil ed?) But I liked the extras that came with the devil edition (the coin etc). So, I wasn't gonna buy both but because each package wasn't quite right for me I ended up not buying either.
I never talked about my preference on the forums when it comes to mutiple editions of any retailer cos it's doesn't make any difference to anything, companies will do what they want and I'll buy what I want out of the options they give, and like with John wick, if im not completely/mostly happy with either option then I'll just do what I always do in that instance and skip it altogether. We're all different as collector's and that's a good thing, I've just explained a bit about how I buy steelbooks, but I would not want the retailers to stop bringing out different editions as some collector's love 1/4 slips and others love lenti's etc.. there is something for everyone and I'll go on choosing to buy what I like (or not in some case's):joy:

I like the standing slipbox better than the motorcycle. But I like the booklet better than the pictures. I prefer the actual steel to anything else, but more countries have that steel so I just don't feel like pulling the trigger. Why is the promo shot so small? I can't tell if that's the Parthenon or a casket behind Tom.
