Hallo everyone! Hi to my dearest oldies goldies and hi to all new visitors

Since the majority of my collection si packed in moving boxes (and shall sadly remain in unaltered condition for quite a few more weeks to come), I will post pics of individual releases. Hope that's fine.

I'd say my preferences lie in the horror/fantasy & BBC period drama type of films, but it would actually be totally unfair to say that, as I love movies in general, no matter the genre. I am a HUGE fan of digipacks and digibooks, as of lately of steelbooks as well. I normally never buy films just for the packaging's sake (eventhough, I am making an exception right now by trying to get the NL Conan CE Box!! rofl), I buy editions of films that I truly love in one way or the other. In such cases I am sadly very much capable of double- and tripple-dipping, if necessary

Amazing collection....I'm alson a harry potter fan, the castle is also one of my most prized posession.. Loved the wand need one of those for me...is it harry's wand??

Yeah, they are great, right now i'm collecting the character editions of the wands, they come with nameplates and theres a nice displayrack for them.
Also Bellatrix has one on a wallplaque which looks pretty good!

Holly Go, thank you very much! Like Andre said, yes, it's Hermione's Wand. I had to chose one, and this one was the one I liked the most. Lol, yes, nothing beats that castle... Still, I have very high hopes for a breathtaking LOTR edition someday

Digitalbabe, thanks Yes, I know that steelbook, but I didn't buy it. Lately I have to be very selective about my purchases (and I'm not a very good job, rofl!)

As am I! La Mome is worth getting, it's really really beautiful, the pics don't even do it justice. If you can get it, I highly recommend it. LOTR box? There isn't much to tell about it, really - it's Thai, includes a set of LOTR playing cards in a neat little sachet, and the extended DVD editions. I love the way it's made and the way it fits in this the whole LOTR context. It's a fantastic designer idea, I think. I wouldn't sell it for a million. No, really, I mean that.

I didn't buy the last Star Wars set either. I am waiting for something better as well and there in fact will be something better, I know it.
