Gut feeling on the surface it looked like the dumbest play. And I will add that they err on the side of caution thinking too much of what if a run there did not get a score or worse a sack behind the line of scrimmage. My humble opinion is that they should simply fees the beast and turn him loose and let him carry the team. It is heart breaking because it was so close and the fans care a lot about this team (as most sports fans anywhere do). They will be back and they will be good for many, many years to come. They have provided many folks with unforgettable memories and instilled optimism, hope and unity all around the city and state. That is the wonderful view of sports and entertainment isn't it?

New England was the better team last night so they deserved the sweetness of victory.

Seattle will be back [emoji14]

@TobinFrost Yes Marshawn looks to be open so it is another puzzling question why Wilson did not look at him first before the snap for a matchup read. Even more so, I don't believe Ricardo Lockette ever caught a slant pass all season so that might be another interesting angle on that call. But Butler made a heck of a play on a great read. Personally I agree with Wilson that it was his fault - he was too fixated on that side of the line which could have gave it away for Butler to read that play. Oh well, he will learn for it - greater things ahead :)

It's true that it seems unlikely. Why did the pass to Ricardo whereas Marshawn was alone (n)I still don't understand...

Lockette is the 1st read and Lynch might be the 2nd read.
Wilson didn't go to his progression. It's a slant, so he need to throw it quick.

See you in 7 months ;)

I can't believe the Seahawks lost that game. They had it won almost. Just 1 more yard! I don't like the Seahawks but I despise the Patriots. Sucks having to choose between those two teams this year.
