A reminder to all group buy members - as stated in rule #7 of the Group Buy Rules Thread:

Staff members and group buy hosts request that all members remain prompt in their payment and do not make unreasonable requests about the items. This forum is not Ebay and it is not like any other professional resale site. All group buy requests are made in good faith, and members and Group Buy hosts are expected to stay in communication with each other regarding to the status of each transaction. Staff may contact members/Group Buy hosts to request more info or help resolve trading issues as necessary.

In summary. This means that any group buy member that requests an item from a group buy host must indicate that they do not want that item before that item is ordered from a supplier.

Group buy hosts are putting up their own funds, and purchasing items at their own expense - in advance of receiving any funds (in most cases), from members.

Recently we have had a few folks drop out of group buys after this cut off. If this continues, our group buy hosts might start asking for payments earlier, in advance of receipt of items, or they may begin leaving negative feedback to buyers that withdraw from a group buy after the established deadline for that purchase.

It's a lot of work to host a group buy and any help that our membership here can give - on an individual level - to make their jobs easier - is appreciated.

Thank you.

Reminder - if you request items and don't drop out until after the items have been ordered, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO PAY.

There are repercussions for these actions, including removal from future group buy lists, refunds for any group buys already paid, and other, more severe actions at a site level.

Asking people to source items for you, when the funds come out of their own pocket in advance, and then not paying them is not a good trading practice.

Any questions, please PM.

Thank you.
