Just for fun, I've been looking at EB's BluPack stats. There's definitely a pattern.

BluPack #1: 750 copies, 40 GBP.
BluPack #2: 600 copies, 46 GBP. Price increase is warranted, increased 15%, print run reduced 20%.
BluPack #3: 800 copies, 50 GBP. Woah, red flag. Price increased 9%, print run increased 33%.
BluPack #4: 800 copies, 50 GBP. Ok...
BluPack #5: 850 copies, 50 GBP. Paying the same for a larger print run. Red flag.
BluPack #6: 850 copies, 55 GBP. Paying 10% more for the same print run. Red flag. They haven't sold out as fast as they expected most likely, so...
BluPack #7: 850 copies, 50 GBP. Back down to 50 GBP. But we're still in the same situation as with BP #5 (compared with #4).

My personal conclusion is the same as before, only clearer now, EB are charging way too much way too soon.

Let's put that claim to the test.

WWAs containing 4k discs in all cases.
50 GBP = 55€
(FAC 47 Ronin, for example) 1600 CZK = 59€
(CM Birds of Prey lenti, for example) 60€

So you're right.
But that's now that they've taken a step back with their pricing. They haven't sold out Hellboy II at 55 GBP, so they maybe they've found their limit for now.
55 GBP = 61€

If we consider their whole lineup FAC is clearly the longer standing of the 3 retailers. and have earned the right, moreso, than the other 2 retailers to charge these prices.
Using the same examples, FAC are on their 144th release with 47 Ronin.
BoP will be CM's 22nd release, whenever they get around to releasing it.
EB have gone further than both of them on their 6th. That's pretty bold. Now they have taken a step back on their 7th, but for how long?

All three should be cheaper, but if there's one retailer out of the 3 that has "earned" the right to charge prices on the higher end of the spectrum it's clearly FA, without a shadow of a doubt.

EB needs to improve their exclusive stickers and increase the thickness of the card stock used for their fullslips. I feel like those 2 points need attention fast.
BluPack releases
1)Schindler's List £39.98
2)King Kong £45.98
3)Casino £49.99
4)Gladatior £49.99
5)Psycho £49.99
6)Hellboy 2 £54.99
7)Oblivion £49.99

Hellboy there is less than 50% left and will eventually sell out before or just after release date

All BluPack releases so far sold out
Most sold out before release date and a few that was couple of days after release date

I didn't say they would sell out Paul. And 3 editions is not a good while in my book. They haven't been doing BluPacks long enough for anything to be considered "a good while". Not really.

King Kong/Casino/Gladatior/Psycho
These slips are very good
These come with items not included with other retailers releases

I passed on FAC Schindler's List/Gladatior/Casino as in my opinion the Blupack editions was better and you got more items included

Blupack editions was also cheaper than purchasing the FAC releases
After you take into account FAC shipping and Group buy fees

FAC Slip for King Kong (I have that FAC release on order) looks like will be better but still has less items included than Blupack release

So? Who said they weren't?
These come with items not included with other retailers releases
:giggle: And other retailer's releases come with items not included in the BluPacks!! What's your point?
You must mean quantity. Let's take King Kong for instance.

EB BluPackFAC
4K steelbook4k steelbook
SlipSlip
FolderFolder
BookletBooklet
4x concept art cards10x photo cards
6x character cards8x character cards
1x exclusive sticker1x exclusive sticker
1x exclusive release sticker1x exclusive release sticker
1x numbering card1x numbering card
1x captured alive poster
1x skull island poster
1x venture ship embroidered patch
1x Alhambra theatre ticket
1x Ruby Fruit Club ticket
1x strut card
1x coaster
1x bonus disc (Paul dixit, my bad)1x bonus disc

So you got 1 less disc, a couple of small posters to make up for less photo cards and character cards, a couple tickets and a patch, and more importantly, no coaster :giggle:
I'm not saying the EB is less packed with goodies, but it's about even. (And I know you're thinking about bring up the price, don't, I'm just comparing the goodies, that is what I quoted you for.)

I passed on FAC Schindler's List/Gladatior/Casino as in my opinion the Blupack editions was better and you got more items included
And that's fine with me :D
Blupack editions was also cheaper than purchasing the FAC releases
After you take into account FAC shipping and Group buy fees
That's different than comparing cost vs cost.
FAC Slip for King Kong (I have that FAC release on order) looks like will be better but still has less items included than Blupack release
"Less". Right. See above.
What suit are you going to be sewing that venture ship embroidered patch on? :giggle:

My bad, I don't have it and didn't see it mentioned in the OP of its thread.
Even having the bonus disc, my point stands.

dmd posted a comparion list, but pauly didnt agree.
dmd didnt laugh and attacked pauly
pauly was stunned for a second but counter attacked dmd, but dmd did a counter attack and showing a nice selfmade comparison sheet. nice!
not even that... he also quote pauly very hard.
but pauly still stand and attacked dmd, with a 2hit combo quote.

i dont lie guys, but this is the bloody fight.

@DMD4k
King Kong
FAC price 1599 CZK = £53.19
EB price is £45.99

EB /FAC
Price difference £7.20

That's before shipping is added
So you got that wrong also :p :giggle:
Damn it Paul, you robotic Irishman.
I didn't get anything else wrong aside from the bonus disc, which is not decisive in any case.
And I already anticipated you'd bring up the price for KK. Do you make it a point not to read my messages?

@paulboland this is the message you should be replying to. Aside from my own conclusion, those are facts. Argue that.
If you reach a different conclusion than mine that's fine, you're welcome to. You keep raving about those extra ticket stubs.
I'll keep pointing out that EB have increased their prices exponentially when compared with FA or even CM, which are bad enough. They haven't matched that increase in price with extra cards to warrant that increase in price over such a small timeframe, on the contrary, they have increased print run along with the price. That's the issue.

Do not reply that the slips are good.
