I can't see the 2nd 4K disc being full of bonus features. That's never happened. I'd say it's more likely to be a different version of the film, whether that's extended cut, B&W or IMAX ratio etc. Unless of course the mockup is an error and it's actually a 2nd blu-ray, which is more likely to be exclusive bonus features imo.

There was a lot of extra footage shot and I would love to see an extended version like The Martian. However, I would be shocked (but pleased) if they gave us that in this release but don’t they want to sell release lots of editions.
It is Amazon so who knows what their physical media release strategy is.

On another note, with this being an Amazon release I would say it’s safe to pre order on their site if it comes back in.

The extra 4k disc could be the 3 hour 45 version of the film that they initially screened for test audiences. If that's the case I'd absolutely give this another shot, given that I only felt luke warm about the film. But it would indeed by very surprising if they released this directly in the first release. But lets be real, for 40 pounds/50 euros we should absolutely expect that, even though we're not used to getting that treatment by the studios usually.

Does say new bonus content though. The fact an extended version hasn’t been advertised makes me think it not but I certainly welcome it

I’m hoping the 4K is imax ratio anyway

Yeah, it does, it would just be really odd to have a 2nd 4K disc dedicated to bonus features. It would have to be like a feature length documentary filmed in 4K (with DV & Atmos according to the disc art) for that to make any sense, otherwise it's just an unnecessary expenditure for the studio vs a blu-ray.

If there isn’t another cut (which would've usually been mentioned tbh), then it's most likely the mockup is wrong and that isn't a 2nd 4K disc with dv & atmos, and it's a standard blu-ray bonus disc. I do hope the standard 4K has IMAX ratio as well though, but there's no mention on the back of the amaray, so we'll have to see.
