Anyway I've already modded my Steelbook with a four disc frame and it's now complete! 4K + 3D + 2D + Bonus!

Can anyone who modifies steelbooks tell me where I can find this 2 disk additional frame holder attached to the right side of the Steelbook on the picture ? ..so it can hold the 2 extra disk ?

Oh I see now what you mean now, I think @Vangeli has just used an old 4 disk plastic case/insert and has modded it himself (i.e. swapped the plates and spine etc). That is the only way you can get this result buddy, AFAIK. @Vangeli will hopefully confirm

Unfortunately I can't I've been looking for one myself because my Star Trek Discovery Season 2 one is damaged and won't hold one of the discs.

Yes I used a “donor” steelbook frame and swapped the metal parts over; the spine most delicately as to not bend and damage it. I usually use the Steve Austin four-movie Steelbook collection, which has been the easiest to find relatively cheap. Often found it used for around $5 and new around $10, when available.

I’ve done it at least 30 times by now but have slowed down as the movies I want/need complete versions of are fewer, and I’m collecting less Steelbooks these days anyway.

I have the original E3 edition with the 3D embossed slip so is this the same slip with added gitd effect? Also, my copy had the 4K disc instead of the bonus features disc (added the bonus features disc myself from another edition) but this seems to now include all 4 discs? Seems odd but hey, rest assured everyone that you can order with confidence. After all, this is Filmarena, a name you can rely on!

Dear collectors,



we are back to you with further information. After a long time, as our situation has changed several times and we wanted to give you information when it is really clear, because during the last two years we have gone through a very turbulent period full of twists and turns, good and not so good.



Now we know the situation and what we are capable of doing next. We have already informed you about the intention to restart the release of postponed editions, and we were able to plan approximately 3 editions in advance. Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain discs for our editions, for some editions only partially, for most editions not at all. So we decided to release at least in limited count the editions for which we have discs and to cancel the release of the editions for which there are no discs. The conclusion is that we will not release the editions FAC #172 - 179, 181, 182, 183, 185, and the editions BB 31 and 32. Our plan is to cancel these orders and refund you the money for them on credit or to your account.



We are also introducing two new editions that were not originally announced, but are ready for sale and shipping. At the same time, we will be able to re-examine the functioning of our shipping capacity in real operation with these editions.
