Okay I've just finished watching it, Not sure what film other people watched but it was pretty good, definitely a Scream film in the style of the original 4 films.
And despite being 2 hours it went really fast, when it starts going it it doesn't let up.
The killers and their motive isn't actually as bad as people made out but isn't fantastic either, but then again neither was the last two
Now there is somethings I wasn't keen on
the AI, not that it was used but the way it was done, you know that way movies exaggerated technology to be more advanced then it is, that what this is in this film, The Idea was okay but it just could have been better if it was more grounded in reality then this obviously fake version of it, and obviously even better if it was actually Stu.
and I think that's what people are taking out their frustration of it not being actually him on what they got.
I'd put it below Scream 4 and above Scream 3....kinda
Definitely higher then 5/6
Oh and the acting and music is a lot better in this too, the twins are more likable also.
I'd say definitely watch it and judge for yourself

Not sure if the rights for film in the UK are the same as they are for France and the US
Entertainment previously held the rights, but to my knowledge currently Lionsgate has international rights to it.
But US Lionsgate and UK Lionsgate are two different entities, just because the US is releasing it doesn't mean the UK will.
That's to my knowledge

Just arrived. Matte steel with spot gloss on the front for the main image

Not seen the film yet and probably won't until I get a Scream 4 4K steel so I can watch them all together

I'd recommend going in with low expectations. For me, it's the worst of the series. Wouldn't surprise me if it were a franchise killer. Screams of a 1000 rewrites, but just one more could've cleaned it up, to give it a good end and a purposeful motive.
Stu was the only good part, even though you knew the whole premise was weird, but the pointless "reveal" and motive at the end were just lazy and boring
