Shipping costs from France

I've bought a boxset on Ebay, and I want to ship it to The Netherlands.
The seller in France says this will cost €48.
This can't be right, for a package below 2 kilo, right?
Could anyone tell me the actual shipping costs for insured shipping?

Depends Tosti-shipping from some locations to others-especially with tracking and insurance can be very expensive. I have no idea if the cost is mentioning to you is 100% accurate, but I've paid heft shipping for heavier items, even from family in Germany. Depends on carrier, speed, etc. You can always check with members 'Mams' or 'Bidou' to get some thoughts-they ship from France frequently. Maybe they can help...

I receive packages from Europe all the time and one thing is certain, that's too much.

For inside Europe and 2 kgs, shouldn't be more than 20 tops!

I got a package from France to U.K that was over 2kg and it was just over 21 Euros. I think that quote is too much.

up to 2kg from France to the Nederlands :
-12,85 euros priority ("petit paquet international")
-15,85 euros for tracking ("secur'export" sticker)
-17,15 euros for signature/insurance ("recommandé international" R1)
then a little more if you need better insurance.

Please note the rates are higher to outside Europe...
