Looks fantastic! Can't wait. Probably also the only premium release we'll ever get for this movie or at least for the foreseeable future.
Before they changed the steel, this was a no brainer for me. Am struggling with the artwork repetition on slipbox , same as the steelbook.
So you did not pay 'enough' to 'them' to be 'able' to join the GB?! Ah Well, as expected... Platinum subscription goes for 200+ if I'm correct? In 2023 the price was 223,20$.
Multiply that by the amount of subscription they've sold for all three tiers and you'll find out that someone is making a lot of money over the backs of members who 'THINK'' they get extra privileges

No mate i dont pay a penny i refuse to pay just to be given a chanche to buy something. But it make sense those paying members are served first and like you said someone is making really good money from just organizing the whole system but then again i do think there's alot of time and work involved to keep everything running so it also make sense they want to earn a bit for all that effort. I think it was $149 this year but surely being first in line is a clear benefit? I do think those who've been loyal members but don't get a sniff because they're not plat are probably the only ones who have a justified grievance, loyalty should be worth more than a few dollars.
Got my group buy invoice for Sleepy Hollow this evening, I'd completely forgotten that I'd signed up for it!! But happy I've got it in the bag. As for 'Platinum subscriptions' or 'paying members' etc, that I've read about in previous comments, I'm not too sure what all that is about?? I didn't do any of that stuff, I filled a gb form in, crossed my fingers, and totally forgot about it!
Bit of a weird flex without providing context. Different GB hosts have different participation requirements sometimes; yours apparently didn’t.
They're talking about MP r.e platinum members. VIP is over at bd.com. If you filled out a form, I assume that was with debossed. Mark kinda picks and chooses in terms of his GBs, depending on the release and who applies.
If those "different participation requirements" require me being a massive sucker paying 200 notes to be in it, then I'm out.
