Does the film have an alternative cut? It had a German Steelbook release in 2021 saying Uncut edition, and I was curious

Cause Tropic Thunder directors cut was superior but on 4K crappy theaterrical along with Hansel & Gretel 4K was the crappy theater cut & not directors cut.

It's possible the film was released in Germany only with certain edits and only in 2021 (or thereabouts) was released "uncut" aka what the rest of the world already saw in 98.
