The big question is - will it have the title on the spine?
They genuinely won't know either way mate. The CS guys never see the steels, all they have to go off are disney's promo images. They just happened to give the wrong images for onward. Tbf apart from the live action dumbo, that isn't the norm anymore and hasn't happened in the UK in YEARS.Earlier this evening, I asked Zavvi whether this really will have a title on the spine, as opposed to Onward which showed a title on the spine initially but in the end didn't have one (and Zavvi just removed the picture showing it from their listing).
Here's their response (and I kid you not!):
Just to confirm, would you like us to check whether your copy should come with a j-card?
You just couldn't make it up, could you?
Oh, sure - I'm aware of all of that. I just thought it would be fun to enquire and see what sort of response I would get! They genuinely won't know either way mate. According to scanavo the UK/EU release has a zero finish
Wow - that must have been a mistake! lolOh, and yes the mockup was correct, there is a spine title.
That's a fair representation of what it looks like in hand. I'm a fan of wraparound art too, but i felt it was very poor quality. 90% of the time metallic reflections like this make a steel look cheap imo, and that's how i saw it. A cheap, no effort finish.Going by these pics from Steelbookpro it looks reasonably OK but maybe I'm biased because I like the wraparound artwork and the metallic effects on the piano keys and buildings:-
