Nice box set! I don't have any of the individual movies on blu-ray, so this is great to have them all in one package.

this set is awsome and the pq quality for all the films are spot on!!! just make sure you have a very large space on your display stand for it as its a beast!!

Am i missing something here, has this not been available for the last 3 odd years already?

I could understand it if it was new packaging or new special features but it seem's identical to the first release.

EDIT.....................................................................................................

Zavvi have got the old title/boxset artwork up, they need to change it. Thought it seemed strange.

It should be called Star Trek: Stardate Collection

I have looked around and it does seem to have been available before. Zavvi have this listed as a pre-order but from what I can see it does look to be the same set.

I swear i already own this, i got it a few months back off of play for around £80...
Pictures or it didn't happen

There are a couple of amazon.co.uk reviews up. Trekkies complaining that Paramount did not give them what they wanted: extended/director's cuts that were out on DVD in the '90s. What's new. Live long and suffer.

I have updated the pic since then. Zavvi had a picture of an existing set up despite the fact that this is a new release.;)

lol, i have put the edition i own as an attachment below... Just seen the pics on amazon for this new release and it is different... I thought that Zavvi had just messed up listing the old release as a pre-order ;)

Is there anything actually new with this upcoming release which wasn't in the previous one? Because by the looks of it, it is just a smaller edition that will fit on our shelves rather than have to be put elsewhere as the old one was huge... If so it kinda reminds me of the recent Hitchcock release, there was the big display piece edition and then the G2 sized box set...
