if i have an artwork and i offer up 100 exclusive limited edition prints for sale, if they all sold out, i think it would be dishonest to print another 100

it literally devalues the first print.

its a slap to the face of everyone who bought the first print thinking they were the lucky owners of a 1 out of 100 copy.

a way to get around this without upsetting people, is by making the second print run different to the first. so its not simply a re-print, but a second edition.

plain archive do this. its the decent thing to do.

simply reprinting the thing makes a mockery of the whole collectors/limited edition claim.

but hey, i bought one so im not complaining, but do understand those who are frustrated.

Zavvi stock is from a overall shared print run
The exact same steelbook was released in France/Italy/UK/Czech Republic
The overall print run is decided by Warner and each retailer is provided an amount of stock from this print run
Jcards and the blu-ray disc inside are separate to the steelbook itself

This only affects third party sellers more stock from the film studio been provided to a retailer the customers who want this are very happy as they get it at retail price
