these are the truly blessed
Yeah, I bought from OrbitDVD.
The UK Deluxe UHD is $280, Arrow US has it for $230, $50 cheaper, but OrbitDVD (and I guess DiabolikDVD), selling them for $190, another $40 cheaper. So in pounds it's basically £135!

US MSRP is $270, so even if they made a lot of copies and by some miracle it doesn't sell out, it'll be $140-160 at 40-50% off some day. I'm not willing to risk missing out for $30+

Tolerant and inclusive lefties on display.

I can't, because I avoided spoilers. Just heard/read broad negative things about misplaced 'confessions' in the last 1 or 2 episodes under the ever present 'woke' sauce.

Do NOT put words in my mouth, speak for yourself. :meh:

Yes, that's exactly what I heard, thank you, Flloydo gets it. Doesn't mean the entire series is bad, just that they screwed up an important moment, and at the end of such an event series, I bet it's very important.

Because wokeness is what's ruining every other film and series lately. Hysterical libs like you cannot comprehend that it all being done just to put a checkmark, or comply with 'inclusivity rules', such as those written up by the Academy to be eligible for awards, is as racist and offensive as anything before, if not more. It's a demeaning handout, a forced fascist rule to comply with. I'm speaking in general, not about Stranger Things per se, because I haven't seen it past S2.

No, I did not, read it again with glasses. I said I heard ruined by the end, meaning somewhere near the end, not the whole show.
whatabout all the wokeness?
seriously that's all you got?

lol at NOTHING FROM THIS NOBODY HERE.

too funny.

have fun with your baiting..

Why does everything have to disintegrate into left Vs right, liberal Vs conservative.
Honestly, what's the big issue? It's a bloody tv show. Why it's offends people I'll never know. Utter ridiculousness. Such little insecure babys. Cant you just ignore the stuff you don't like or just don't watch it? Simple fix.
Laughably pathetic otherwise.

Couldn't agree more. Letting political views/beliefs run every aspect of your life is honestly depressing.

That said... @tha_lunatic for president of the LGBTQ+ community! #littlegaygerman

I just want to add that my comments about the coming out scene was like the equivalent to me of when a couple kiss and declare their love in the middle of a battle scene or destruction. I don’t care that a character is gay, I just found that scene was odd to stick in where they did and to have every single character present. Already mentioned they deal with it with Robin soooooo much better. Other than some terrible decisions, everyone surviving and bad story writing in the final season I personally don’t find Stranger Things woke lol

At this point, anyone complainign about "woke" is telling on themsleves in a big way. We know what you really are.

At this point anyone 'complaining' about woke tactics is pointing out the obvious racist and fascist elements, fighting for the art to be pure, as much as it can, being a business after all, and yes, assigning themselves to the sane side of history. You can say 'coloring themselves' one way. Why not, the looneys color themselves literally, in pink, green, whatever colors. Plus glasses and a nose ring, usually. :shipped:

Ah yes, Stranger Things having gay characters is very racist and fascist...

Do you even hear yourself? It's truly mind-boggling how pathetic, and yet confident people like you are. I'm sure you care very deeply about racism and fascism.

It's honestly sad.

I haven't seen the final season yet, so are we talking about 'forced diversity' in certain scenes?
Diversity should be a natural way of life, unfortunately that's often not the case, be it race, lgbtq, disability... unfortunately this often results in what is perceived as 'forced agendas' to raise awareness. Although raising these issues may seem, at times, misplaced, I, personally get it as raising awareness is an ongoing battle due to the 'blinkered', narrowminded sections of society still, disappointingly, out there...

This is true, and if certain backward people are butthurt that their precious culture of exclusion is going instinct, they should really take it up with those that were responsible for the rampant, decades long discrimination in the first place. Maybe the industry is overcorrecting the other way for past inequities, but it wouldn't even be a thing if the discrimination didn't exist for so long.

I think you summed it up perfectly earlier, the awful cringe coming out scene didn't ruin the season, the awful writing did and that scene was just one mistake among many.

I don't see why this is getting brought up now though, I don't feel like Stranger things has changed wildly at its heart, it didn't change overnight or have a new creative direction thrown out at random.

It's not going extinct though, Hollywood is one of the best examples of exclusion to its own detriment that I can think of. It's literally strangling itself with its insistence to be insular and incestuous.

What it boils down to is this...
If society wasn't so blinkered there'd be no need for so called 'forced diversity,' resulting in what is interpreted as misplaced political correctness... until diversity is fully accepted those with so called 'agendas' will continue to have a battle on their hands...
My wifes final career role as an equality, diversity and inclusion lead opened my eyes to the ongoing issues faced by those with physical/mental challenges and lgbtq and ethnicity challenges. If society was more open and accepting then maybe the necessity of 'misplaced' diversity wouldn't be a so called 'issue'...
Apologies If I'm being too deep...

Hmm, you've given me something to chew on. Perhaps using the word extinct was a bit hyperbolic, but I do believe we would be remiss if we didn't concede that Hollywood has made tangible strides in the diversity department compared to where it was only 25 years ago.

With respect Lenny, it’s not the left that gets their “panties in a bunch” over shows and starts screaming woke.

If you want to complain about bad writing, then do so. That’s a legit criticism. Screaming woke is just whining and/or shows an inability to articulate exactly where something is wrong, and if you’re really good, you can talk about how they could do it better.

Honestly, screaming woke is at best lazy.
