It’s a shame the UK only had 1 design steel when some countries had 3.

And for me personally, this is the worst art of the 3, so I've ordered elsewhere. Was really hoping another UK site would get a different art steelbook

Wasn't it the same with Joker? We got 1 design whereas some countries got 2 or 3.

It's a bit odd that the UK got 2 options for The Suicide Squad, but only 1 for The Batman.

Release date has not changed it's only ever been June 13th in UK
I posted info in the thread in March that the physical media releases the UK release date for The Batmam will be June 13th

All other UK retailers except HMV have had June 13th listed as release date since March

HMV only listed release date on their website on Thursday
Previously HMV website only had listed coming soon that what HMV always list when no release date is listed on their website

That's just the standard email you automatically get from HMV when their website updated to list a release date
Previously HMV website had not listed a release date just had Coming Soon
That's why you got that email from HMV about your order as they only listed the release date on their website on Thursday

The UK Monday June 13th release date has been known since March it was just HMV website that previously had not listed a release date until Thursday when they updated the website listing to show the artwork
I listed the UK release date June 13th in the thread in March

First time I've seen this "timer" feature on HMV... it doesn't even specify an actual time though, so how are we supposed to know when it runs out?

They use it all the time when they have the vinyl exclusives like the coloured century releases each June


I get the impression this is a bit of a scare tactic though. So many cancelled these. It’s the worst batman steel so far. Like they are trying to create hype for the release. They’ve never cared previously if a steel sells well to have a precaution measure to make sure all that want a copy can get a copy lol

The reason the timer was originally brought in was to help with the site crashing. When the century vinyl go up the site used to crash. This helped it stay in your basket after all that time it took. Instead of repeating the steps of adding to the basket again etc
