Not really - because it won't have the individual slip covers for each movie
This is the same issue with kino box sets. They jettison the slips and just have the amarays in the box
Well, yeah, aesthetically separate ones are better, but cost-wise, if everything else those LEs had, will be present, will probably be cheaper, and definitely unfair. I'm one of those that prefers limited editions to stay limited.

I don't think it would make any sense for arrow to do that. If anything- it would be MORE expensive if it was the previous singles w/slips and extras in a new box.

No, not with those slips. I'm sure it'll just be the amarays in a box, but it'll likely cost about $70, $50 later on sale.

There was a documentary on TGTBTU that's was only available on the limited set.
It wasn't included on the standard Amarays.
Hopefully that'll stay limited.

Was there anything else exclusive to the other two films?

I think this is more likely to be £90/$100+ if I'm honest.

So they INCLUDED the "limited edition only" documentary from The Good, The Bad, the Ugly.

That's pretty low. Companies don't give a sh*t and LIMITED means nothing anymore.

Really strange why they made this move, is this the first time Arrow have done this?

I wonder if the booklet will be all three parts stitched together and yeah that doc why?!

And for only £60 man that really takes the piss!
Arrow wanted to do a Trilogy Box Set from the very start but wasn't allowed to do this when they first announced the films getting a release by them back in December 2024

Arrow at the time they was doing the separate individual limited or standard editions of films they were contractually not allowed to do a trilogy box set of all 3 films (same restriction also applied Kino Lorber when they done their releases)

The restriction MGM imposed on Arrow has been lifted that's why they are now allowed to do a Trilogy Box Set

I agree, I couldn't get the limited TGTBTU on 4k (Amazon let me down on a pre-order) so I bought it on BD and bought the standard on 4k. So that alone cost me £55. Now the 'exclusive' content is in this boxset for £60 I feel cheated by this Bad and Ugly move. There are two kinds of people in this world Tuco my friend, those who believe that things are limited or exclusive, and those who don't...

No. Sorry @paulboland they could have kept the documentary exclusive. It's BS. No excuses

It's still a techinally a Limited Edition Exclusive as this trilogy box set is a also limited Edition
Even with saying this all contents included in any releases are subject to change for licensing reasons some exclusive content can be for a limited time

Arrow was simply not allowed to do the Trilogy Box Set from the start they did want to do this but MGM said no at that time
MGM only just very recently gave arrow the permission to do a Trilogy Box Set

This is wonderful news, I'm extremely pleased with this release and it was an instant pre-order for me. I held up buying the individual releases in hopes of getting a trilogy box set just like this.

Sure okay @paulboland simply reiterating the corporate end user agreement waffle here simply doesn't cut it. It's utter BS and companies shouldn't be allowed to lie and bend the truth. Keep the exclusive documentary off the later release - as they had been doing. But no. Shiity move adding it and stating it was Exclusive.
This crap has to stop.
In fact I'm going to contact them about this. It's proper triggered me

AND. They're charging what amounts to £35 less for this box set as opposed to £29.99+ £29.99+ £34.99 for the individuals.

Utter BS move and I've lost all respect for Arrow now.
