Zavvi will now be back to been ZavviGroup Ltd

THG confirmed the sale of its OnDemand division, including Zavvi, to its existing leadership team as ZavviGroup Ltd, with financial backing from investment firm Gordon Brothers.

Note Gordon Brothers Group is a liquidation and restructuring company

For future zavvi releases like this one, will it be a GB for us non UK/European residents or do i have to beg/bribe you @Flloydo ?
I have thought about becoming a GB host for say HMV etc to the rest of the world but honestly, I don’t know if I can deal with the stress.

So glad people are understanding this incredibly niche joke

One of the funniest f**king things I’ve ever heard in my life and to be completely honest I was not expecting that plot twist 4 minutes into the YouTube apology video. Genuinely thought it was still going to be about HMV. Incredible

Some more info for those interested in regards Zavvi been sold by THG and why EverythingBlu will be back as a independent retailer

THG confirmed the sale of it's OnDemand division to NEWCO and Zavvi to it's existing leadership team as ZavviGroup Ltd, with financial backing from investment firm Gordon Brothers

The OnDemand division included the webstores IWOOT, My Geek Box, Pop In A Box, Very Neko
Zavvi sold to ZavviGroup Ltd

ProBikeKit was sold separately to Fraser Group in the second quarter of 2023.

The sales generated £4 million and THG announced that both would continue as clients of Ingenuity
Arrow Films was retained by THG and moved into the Ingenuity division

Zavvi online website will still though will be operated by the inguenty e-commerce platform as will lots of other retailers websites that inguenty look after

Arrow Films Distributor is not affected as that is still owned by THG PLC

This is hard to make sense of.
So all these stores are now ZavviGroup's? Or just some punctuation missing?
Thats a list of retailers that was previously part thg on demand division
On demand division was sold to Newco

Zavvi was sold back to Zavvigroup Ltd

Before THG bought Zavvi in 2009
Zavvi was known as Zavvi Group Ltd

Well I still have no ******* good update. I contacted their Instagram team on Tuesday who contacted the warehouse team. With empty promises of your order will be shipped soon and we are escalating your problem and will surely push your order out asap. What a ******* crock of ****.

Serious it has been a week since payment now. Ebay prices are for buy it nows are currently at a minimum of £150 with some asshats expecting £300 for it. ******* scalpers.

In case I am not being clear, I'm kinda pissed off.

Maybe there'll be multiple stock shipments to Zavvi's warehouse from EB, that include the Deluxe & Collectors editions.
I know we are still waiting on the Steelbook only lot ( I ordered that regretfully, wished one of the others), perhaps another load of the bigger ones are coming with it mate.
