Last to dispatch, first to arrive. As always, it's a really lovely (and space-consuming) set from Second Sight, hope the movie lives up to the hype!

Wow, you're going in blind.
It's a pretty niche film. Have you seen Red Rocket, Tangerine etc?
Personally this for me is Sean Bakers best film. Anora was okay though it remains overhyped imo. Tangerine is good but will always be quite unapproachable for a lot. Red Rocket has it's good points albeit the running length was far too long.

This has everything I appreciate in a Sean Baker film. It definitely has it's routes firmly in indie film making with both the subject matter and production values though. Red Rocket and Anora both fit much more into what I'd say was the mainstream.
