Really don’t like the finish on the FS. The gold title is fine but that’s it. Not a lick of spot gloss. It’s too like the original Joker full slip. And feels horrible in hand like sand paper. First manta full slip in a long while that I’ve not liked. Shame because there’s another one exactly the same with another going up for pre order I imagine soon lol ffs

I mean, honestly.. if it's like the Joker FS then I can surely respect @Flloydo s opinion, but the Inception FS is definitely better and my favorite Inception slip. Characters on the front are glossy, title is glossy, leo on the back of the slip is glossy. Whereas Joker is really just sandpaper like on the front, I can't really recall the back, but the "Put on a happy face" line could be glossy there. Overall the slip is pretty much just sandpaper.

The inception slip is better than this but still uses too much scratch resistance for my liking. Yeah you’re right tho, that was the only spot gloss on joker

This has zero but it does have a gold foil title if that’s any saving it? Steel is lovely though. Even with a paint chip!….

Apologies on the delay. Phone is playing up and tying to get Radiohead tickets was a priority this morning!

Love zhangs work and front-on it’s fine. But yeah for me the finish let’s it down. Which I did know would happen buying it because of the description but it’s the only art I liked. If he was spot glossed with maybe some paint brush marks then I’d be singing it’s praises! Steel is a beaut though

FS definitely could've benefitted from the faux brush strokes. If it had those then I don't even think that spot gloss would've been necessary. Finish does look disappointing - I'll have a better sense when my copy arrives - but that artwork is so perfect for the film that I'm still good with my choice. The steelbook only looks okay; that group shot at the bottom just looks so forced. The family image is on the back. It didn't need to be on the front, too.

Regardless, still very happy The Godfather films (the first two, at least, so far) are getting these sets.

Unfortunately no! We got the access codes which was sent out on Wednesday, me and a mate was separately trying to get 4 tickets for me and our mates but it ended up thinking we were bots and completely restricted us from getting them. My phone was low on batt too so was panicking but I then got completely f**ked over anyway. Was fuming. Apparently it happened to so many people, completely restricting them when the irony is all the actual bots probably bought up all the tickets which this new way was trying to stop . I get what they were trying to do but it turned into a shambles. That’s f**king Oasis and Radiohead I’ve missed out on now. Same thing happened with them last year ffs

They're playing 5 nights a Knebworth next year, apparently, so you can try again for those. Yeah 5 at knebworth next year plus another world tour. 100%. A few friends managed to get tickets in the end through other ways but yeah was gutted I didn’t get one. I was actually at V festival the year they split up and they semi broke up that night before the Chelmsford gig so I didn’t get to see them then either but I did funnily enough see them at Cardiff stadium that same year in June for the dig out the soul tour. Was gutted at V tho waking up on that Saturday hearing they cancelled their headline slot

Oh Radiohead will defo have something next year too. I’m fairly certain a new album is on the horizon anyway.

Just realised I bought the Double Lenti A. Not huge fan of lenticulars... however I really like this, especially the front shot of Vito... great death imo and a crisp image. The postcards & accompaniments are all really nice too. Nice job Manta!
