No the Studio Canal releases have a booklet they are not bound i.e like Les Mis.
Really they are a digipack with a booklet. Still very nice releases though, Have a couple myself

well, actually, the re-releases of the Studio Canal Collection are more like digibooks as they have pages attached to the inside of the cover, not a separate booklet. (If you look at Schindler's List, that's not much of a digibook either if you compare it to the Warner Brothers or Universal 100th Anniversary releases, as it has a few pages stapled to the cover rather than glued)

I agree however that the original releases from Studio Canal Collection are not digibooks, but digipacks with booklets.

That's very interesting Steeler. I can't seem to find anything about it though. Do you know which films Studio Canal have re-released as "proper" digibooks? it would be great to be able to add them to our master list!

I haven't seen anything either about these re-releases, I recently ordered The Ladykillers from Amazon and got the digipack.

I've got both Belle De Jour and Mulholland Drive (originally released in 2009, re-released in 2013) as re-released. I'm not sure I would recommend them though. They have the age ratings (and 'studio canal logo') printed on the front, and the disc/features info is printed directly on the back instead of a separate info card. Also, the surface is smooth and lacks the rough texture finish of the originals. As a result, the Mulholland Drive cover art is pretty dark on the re-release (Belle De Jour cover art looks slightly better imo). I don't see why Studio Canal would mess with the original design like that, but I guess it was cheaper to print them like that.

I'll try to get pics when I get back home. If you want the Mulholland Drive/Belle De Jour reprints you may order them through Amazon.co.uk (they are listed as the original releases, but they actually only stock the 2013 reprints):
