Heavenly

So excited for this. Shorely there can only be one composer for this film & he is returning too?

Each December, those cinema showings from 2001 until 2004, they were just magical times.
Looking back at the three releases now, we were so spoilt.

Absolutely

I revisit them each year at a minumum mate. Watching the extended versions in cinema releases this year was just brilliant. Especially as I missed the original theatrical release of Fellowship. Not too fussed these days about missing it for it just resulted in a fond memory of an absolutely abused Blockbuster release (think must have watched it multiple times during that short initial rental period upon release).

I'm quite happy to trust Andy Serkis will do this justice. Not sure about the Colbert fella doing the other one. But Andy getting so many original cast members and adding Kate Winslet and now Anna Taylor. Plus Peter Jackson being involved. I'm just happy to see that aesthetic again and listen to the music and see Ian Mckellen etc.

Of course it'll never match Tolkeins original material but they tweaked things in the movies and imo they nailed all those decisions, so I can find the will to trust the creative process from the folks that gave us the best trilogy of all time, any day of the week.
