These are sci-fi plus disaster movies.
Part one is about people of earth decide to install huge engines on earth in order to push the earth out of solar system because it is no longer habitable.
Part two actually is the prequel of part one. I think it is much better than the first movie with better CGI and more combat scene.
In my opinion, these are Roland Emmerich type of movies but have a feel of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Read the description, these are Chinese 'blockbusters', or something...
The sun died, and they're fighting for survival 2500 years after 'Karlsson-on-the-Roof'ing the planet... ehh, what? Wouldn't the whole thing freeze after that much time? Or are they 'moonlighting' near other suns. Must be one hell of a propeller...

I do want this but... FNAC says it's only got French subtitles... I don't understand why they can't just add English subtitles as well... Guess I'll skip on it for now.
