OMG, as the kids say .

For the first time since... Aladdin and Finding Nemo, I missed out on Zavvi's original listing (I picked up Aladdin and Nemo on their eBay store in June/July, so it worked out fine).

And it's because I truly started to get hooked on steelbooks last June, now it's different, I'm a full-on junkie .

My fault for being in a plane all day !

I'll try my best not to miss out on the pending cancellations, I really do want to own There Will be Blood (I love the film and I don't even have it on Blu-ray, it's the perfect opportunity).

I don't care about the "super extra ultra chupacabra limited run", i just love the movie and the art. 2,000 copies or 20,000, as long as I don't feel cheated on the price, it doesn't bother me.

Was on a plane so didn't have a chance to pre-order. First time I've missed a release in quite some time. It sold out so fast I didn't even have a chance to decide if I like the art or not.

EDIT: Ok, now I want it. I never took a proper look at the artwork. I think it's one of the best looking steel artworks from Zavvi in a while. Love the contrast between the black and the white with the red.

I mean, Classic Disney steelbooks limited to 4K sell out in 4-7 days, but this movie sells out in 6 hours. I know it's 2K , but at this rate, the Disney releases should've taken 12 hours to sell out, but took much longer.

I dunno... My personal opinion is that it's far from sold out. We'll probably see it go live at least a few times before release...

No, that's not how 'my theory' works.
Because I state that I believe that the steelbook is far from sold out.

And why are you spreading rumors? Who confirmed TJB and TLM are limited to 60K each? You are misleading members.

On the other hand, I believe Pain and Gain (1000 units) sold out in about an hour. And it wasn't even a "world exclusive".

That was because a lot of people placed bulk orders (some 50 each).
So it only took 20-100 people to make the steelbook sell out. It was later put back up for order and sold out fast too, limited to 5 steelbooks per person.

So I am sure only 2-5 hundred people ordered it.

It's probably the same story with this release.

The artwork of this one is nice though .
