The Ticketmaster-Live Nation merger has been approved by the Justice Department.
Now the newly formed company would be managing about 350 artists and exclusive booking and promotional deals with over 125 venues around the country and it would continue handling ticketing for events outside of music like sports and theater events.
Many in the music industry and music fans in general are trying to rally against the merger and some Justice lawyers are currently preparing arguments against the deal.
