ordered monday night, arrived today. And i got the big ass titanic book for free. :scat:

didn´t even knew about it^^

The information about the book "James Cameron's TITANIC" is written in the onlineshop under the detailed description of the steelbook.

I got the last one in my MM store and many employees in stores don't know anything about it :hilarious:

I dislike the 3D version split on to two discs not a fan other than that steelbook is first class

Yep. That's the only down side to this.

I take it the French version 3D is not split over 2 discs?

And no doubt will be the same for Avatar.

I received mine today. I cannot believe they split the 3D movie onto 2 discs. I feel like I'm back in the 80s with my laserdisc player. I am also a little disappointed that, instead of the picture shown above, we have 'gewinner von 11 oscars inklusive bester film'.

I don't expect to see a single disc 3D version on blu ray, based on the amount of data. I personally would accept extra compression for a single disc but that's not Cameron's 'vision'.

Hmm....I think I'll sell this one.

I think this steel is a beauty, I am not interested in the 3D myself but i don't mind the discs being there. I couldn't believe how heavy the steelbook is! This version looks a lot better than the French one IMO.

FYI the 3D has been split across 2 discs on every release so far. They wanted the best possible quality for it due to the increased info on the disc.

no biggie for me, coffee break
