I won't see mine for a few weeks but I'm stating to really like these slipcase editions (despite generally hating superfluous tat). I like that members are sharing their numbers too, its interesting to see you all have numbers in the same range.

I hope Universal, WB and Paramount keep doing these. I'd probably buy all of their major releases in this format (Jaws 1, Jurassic 1 &2 , Back to the future (one for each film), Gladiator etc)
I got 4212. I appreciate this is an extremely unexciting number :bucktooth:

Got number 61!

Out of interest, how OCD does everyone get about these things being in perfect condition? I feel like the majority of the steelbooks and collectors editions I get have small imperfections or damage, but I don't know whether I'm just being overly sensitive. My Twister steelbook for example has a small imperfection in the paint, basically a black dot, a little above Bill Paxton's head. Should I be sending it back for a replacement?!

Anybody else ordered from Warnershop? They've got me sweating on the despatch.
WB Shop often are delivery after release date and others have mentioned recently sometimes you don't even get a dispatch email and order history will even still list as not yet dispached but they got actual delivery.
As in an order be delivered without notice it's been shipped.

WB Shop are also known sometimes to not fulfill orders and later cancel customer order they are hit and miss to use for ordering pre orders

I think if you're severely OCD about condition then you're always going to be disappointed.

I try to overlook small imperfections because so often they come out of the factory like that and you could go through tens of copies and still not find one that's truly mint, I don't find it fun to obsess over the smallest mark but it's nice to have a really clean copy. It also depends on what kind of release we're talking about, harder to accept a scratch on a premium release that cost 5-10 times as much and if it's used I expect the stated condition.

Ultimately, you have to decide what standards you want to adhere to and what you're happy with, it's your hobby.

Imperfections I decided are basically something you just have to deal with. But actual dents I will always contact customer service for.

Amazon UK been like this a while now your estimated delivery date been after release date

Payment and dispatch will now often happen just before your estimated delivery date but sometimes you get lucky payment and dispatch happens for delivery on release date or next day

My estimated delivery date is October 21-22
I not had payment taken yet that will happen towards end of next week on Saturday/Sunday or not until Monday 21 with delivery on Monday or Tuesday next week
