what if all this attention (granted it's still pretty niche and insignificant to the world at large) turns disney in favor of releasing d+ shows on blu-ray, at least?

there are bootlegs of many of the more popular shows all over etsy and ebay. if they're so small fry to not have already been 'Cease & Desist'-ed into a pile of fine powder Disney must really not give a sh*t about losing revenue to actual counterfeiters.

i doubt it, cause right now "Boosting Disney+'s subscriber number" is way more important to Disney than releasing more physical home video product to make some money, the whole discontinue home video licensing happened in Mexico, Asia and now Australia, it's clear they don't want you to buy physical any more, they only want you to subscribe to Disney+.

If I still was a “Sealed Collector” it would bother the heck outta me that my copy doesn’t contain any discs. It might sound strange but to me it feels like an incomplete package

If I go for one of these disc-less edition it will be because I can actually buy the discs and insert them within the Steelbook
