I wanted a premium steelbook for this film to come out for years. It's the best Zack Snyder film. I'm absolutely picking up the full slip edition.

3 of the lentis are transitional and manta aren’t too great with the majority of transitional lentis. Pretty much only worked on fight club and American psycho. Their EEAAO DL is horrendous and DL-A (front) could turn out similar if all those little squares change.

Also personally they got the arts the wrong way round. Steel should be the OC box art and vice Versa.

As singular pieces the arts are all fine and the DLs probably have the best art but I’m just personally worried about the lenti quality. If they were blufans quality I’d want the whole OC without thinking

Wow, all the slips look great, but they didn't leave any good artwork for the steelbook itself, as it repeats the Fullslip on the front (same exact photos of all the same characters arranged differently), and the back is tired old crap.

Buuuut... Rorschach is actually a completely different pose. You can tell looking at his mask. I'm sorry I can't help it.

On one hand FS has the worst spine and most generic superhero art (basically TDK FS x6), on the other hand it's not a lenti.

Lentis have the best spine (yellow text on black crucial imo) and more interesting art (DLB looks nice in a david lynch kinda way), but are lentis.

The little manta edition # also kinda sullies the spine imo, should've just used the same yellow as the title.

Steelbook looks solid though. Agree that a 4K of the director's cut would've been preferable.

Some of the recent Manta lenti's have been pretty strong. Would like to see what the flip effect looks like ahead of time like they did with American Psycho though
