Anyone know a good way to store prints flat? like a product maybe that they're using , like a good 24x36 portfolio ? My print buying is faster than my frame buying :/ and have too many tubes laying around !

You can buy a FLAT FILE.
Or (what I did) - I bought the Picturesque Portfolio to store them.

You can put sleeves inside 8.5 x 11 up to 24 x 36 (so you can put all size posters inside.)
The only downside - they have been out of replacement 24 x 36 for almost a year now. (?????)
Last time I looked (back in March) it was estimated that 24 x 36 sleeves would be back in January 2017. I sure hope so.
But, otherwise, this is a brilliant way to store your prints...
Also, I know some people use the SPOTLIGHT poster displays to not only show their art, but use the extra room for ersatz storage.

thanks for the great reply!

could you recommend one?
I would recommend you any type of steel archival flat file that can store sheet size 30 x 42" or bigger. You can see examples here http://www.gaylord.com/c/Flat-Files-1.
I can't recommend you any specific manufacturer because I live in EU and I am not familiar with US manufacturers. I am using this one http://www.crescat.hr/arhivski-ladicar-2/, sheet size A1.
U can also build your own or hire someone to build one for you, from wood and with glass on the top for example.

expressobeans forums has some examples too

Nice.
The harder part (even more than storage) is getting the prints flat. I have had prints that have sat under constant weight for months and still curl. I am now going to try the method of C clamping between boards and see if that works better.

Received an email for Jerrysartorama regarding the Picturesque 24 x 30 Portfolio sleeves.
-Greetings,
Thank you for contacting us. We are currently looking for a new vendor to make the picturesque refills and portfolios. Unfortunetly, the refills in the 24x36" size will not be available until a new vendor is located. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.-

keep searching craigslist for flat files you'll get lucky eventually. otherwise they are very expensive brand new.

Some people do the foamcore sandwich method an put under a bed. Go to Michaels and get 2 acid free foam boards made to size. say, 28x42 or somethign bigger then most your prints. Then put prints inbetween and put those big black metal paper clip things on the foam core boards. Keeps it tight.

I also got some museum quality acid free archival box. I use it, but im not fan. Its huge. Rather just have a flat file.

thats a weird reply ... its like saying .. we havent found someone who will make these, but if we do then we will most likely place an order. I guess it just matters on how much they will cost. Mondo should start making and selling gear to help further support their business.
