Hey all,

Use this thread to chat about all things steelbook. Chat away ...

In an undetermined amount of time (when I need to submit GB addresses) I will then conduct the giveaway via random.org using the Post #s in this thread.

Your entries could be 1 (if you post 1 time) or 100 if you post 100 times.

At that time, I will figure out who wins the free DL TDK Blufans Edition. If you already bought the DL, you will get yours for free as I will refund you. ;)

I will host the giveaway LIVE on my IG by rolling the virtual dice first, if it lands on 5 then I will randomize the numbers 5 times and whatever # it lands on that post count # is the winner.

@GroundDigger

Probably Wolf of Wallstreet Filmarena. That one is very limited (The FAC Edition is, the steelbook itself isn't that limited) and prices are very inflated.
Nah, that Snow White and the huntsman with the swarovski diamonds. Only 6 made. Surely that’s the most expensive steel to buy if you can find one

Most I've spent on a single edition was £90 and took me forever to decide whether it was worth it or not. In hindsight, if something takes me that long to decide I probably shouldn't buy it, but buying it was a good decision in the end so it makes no difference.

saying that though, I just take into account all the times I used to buy steels for ~£10 or less so I don't get too bogged down as an average

You’d like to think that the rule of fairness doesn’t apply to a giveaway/competition…

Listen, I’m no admin or mod so it’s none of my business, just offering my friendly advice and thoughts.

Here’s my attempt to redirect all this:
What’s your ‘grail’ in your collection? Whether that be based on value, finish, size, popularity, finish, or whatever!
Nothing insanely rare but Kingdom of Heaven was expensive

what happened to @Aniv Marvel steel project? I know they're different franchises, but would love to see TDK! (if there's any more art out there that isn't already used)

Hands down this release, glad I got it at cost

Curious what y’all think about the Chernobyl steelbook. I find the artwork so amazing but this was back when I was mainly on Reddit and I found it odd that many people didn’t like the artwork

I remember Elektra being one of the more expensive ones. I mostly only buy steelbooks for films I like and wasn't a fan of the film so with that and how expensive it is, I never bothered with trying to obtain that one

I personally, don't like it when art is basically a rip off of another piece. It would be like doing Wonder Woman as the Mona Lisa, Black Widow as The Girl with The Pearl Earring or Sleepy Hollow as Starry Night

But it’s not like it’s something that is forced. I think it’s pretty clever because the meaning behind the original artpiece matches with the theme of the Chernobyl event
